Spatial chamber composition for 8 musicians and 8 bluetooth speakers.
The piece was written for the Brno Contemporary Orchestra and premiered at Dělnický dům under the direction of Pavel Šnajdr.
The composition draws on the sounds of crickets, katydids, and cicadas, which form a guiding sonic field for the human „clumsy“ performers as they attempt to approach, blend with, or even substitute these indispensable nonhuman voices. It evokes the ongoing ecological catastrophe, recalling that in recent years we have lost nearly 40 percent of insect species.
